You know I'm in St. Louis and my UE AR hovers around 4%, now I make my money on catering but I often flip on UE to get me paid to get back home to offset the high cargo van fuel costs and I'll use Saturday for example.. took 2 UE deliveries to get me 8 minutes from home and earned 39.74 from those 2 deliveries. I do this every time I need to. I'd dead mile it 200 miles before I'd turn on the DD app tho. 🤣🤣

    lie on you and are bullshit. One week out of the blue I might get a contract violation where a crab customer says I didn’t give them the right order and even though I did and have proof of it, but you can’t show the proof we just have to wait for a dispute that we automatically by AI get rejected or they wait forever to make a judgment call and you do 100 more orders and it falls off anyway, but they added a new wrinkle when you get said contract violation you lose five points on your overall rating. Next week I’ll be probably battling with the ridiculous on time rating that no matter what kind of picture I take to prove otherwise cause this happens continuously they say I’m perpetually five minutes late to every restaurant even though now get there early and take a snapshot showing, and I’m at the restaurant before time of pick up.. would love to wake up to the fact of having no tiers no metrics and just orders coming out if they’re bullshit you don’t take them if they’re good you take them easy Peezy that would make life such a better place for us in this gig gap community keep coming with a good stuff man I stand with you wholeheartedly on your thoughts .

  4. They also will send a bigger order to someone a little further away from the pin that way they won’t be waiting for the food to be ready. So sometimes being closest to the pin won’t be sent that order.

  9. Man, my market's so dead spark is okay but they've even changed since they acquired instacart's CEO took over.

  10. The metrics should be there but what we all need to do is fight for legislation to make the base pay more profitable rather than just $2. We need to work somewhere in the middle. Work toward making the metrics less stupid. Excessive cancellations should restrict your access to the platform. Base pay should be at minimum $10 for food delivery orders and $15 for shopping orders. Tips should be at minimum 15% of the sub total or minimum $5 whichever makes sense. Acceptance rate should be removed and offers should be sent out to everyone like Instacart (first come first serve), you take what is profitable, transparent base and tips right on offer screen. The instacart offer model should be on all the food delivery apps. No exclusive orders, just send whatever is out there to any drivers nearby.

    Never gonna happen but a good thought.

  11. My AR is 94 percent here in nyc and ER and all that are at a 100 percent. Not gonna lie here it matters biggg time plus priority scheduling here. Can’t log in whenever here unfortunately. Although I’m at 94 AR I’m still gold here in the city. But not gonna lie metrics should matter here for sure cause I want my work to matter here. When my AR here was at like 30 percent it was beyond hard to log on and paid nothing. So yes it matters here guys
