2. It depends on the store but I still s few rhat don't have that prompt. Think it has something to do with most self checkout lanes here are 20 items or less and here they have to Remove the sales tax here

6. If I remember correctly in my market about a year and a half ago(?) never let me go to self checkout. I'd get grocery orders at 11pm and the self checkout cashiers would refuse to open a regular lane up for me. Then all of a sudden the prompt door dash gives you stopped saying "do not go to self checkout". Now it's back 😠

7. I think they send that message if something is taxable. And you’re right, it sucks big time

   Not only on doordash but YouTube as well. He’s trying to follow in Pedro’s footsteps but according to YouTube tos he’s used hate speech in videos.

10. Yea, I still used self checkout and oops lost my card because the shop and pays in my area went to 2-5 dollar base pays and people arnt tipping. Seeing 27 item orders for 12 bucks all day long. And unless it's Weis markets, the Aldi, karns, and others are all a waste of time. Oh and now you can't substitute on most orders. Yea im done lmao.

12. I think it has to do with them charging the sales tax up front….and the cashiers have to remove it so the customer isn’t getting charged twice
