Some of my driver 1099s were way off. I kept a good excel sheet and always checked weekly totals. Uber said I made a lot more than I did.
Their estimated total miles they gave were insanely high though. I could have really fudged my miles based on their numbers, but no need to,
if u can sit up her complain abt doordash all day quit get a job yall all are weirdo just being honest🤪😅
Everything you need to know about gig delivery you learn in 3 days out here. Or god help you.
Like you are saying I’ve been saying for a long time. It’s all about luck in the orders it isn’t about moving around to fake the algorithm. It’s all luck. You just have to grind it out that’s all. Nothing to do with algorithms it’s all luck
It's disappointing to see the algorithm pushing junk
If it actually works it’s by accident. They need to give shitty cookie cutter advice so they can tell you you’re doing it wrong and make more retarded grift content.
this week has been a terrible show and its irs week so everyone owes money earnings went to shit
Did you notice how Bet on an Alcoholic believes that President Trump got a DoorDash delivery to the White House front door, when it was actually about a DoorDash grandma who had lobbied for a ‘no tax on tips’ policy? He was upset because she was wearing a DoorDash shirt and he wasn’t invited, making a big deal out of something that had nothing to do with him, which just shows he hates it when someone does better than him.🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s up Torp ! Yeah, cause the restaurants in my zone are so slow you do it earned by time it does me well except today. I got a catering order took it 3 miles $200 worth of food and get to the house probably over half million dollars worth of vehicle vehicles such in the driveway and get $ four bucks. First time I’ve ever got hoes on a catering order but glad it’s happening as a learning experience. I hit DoorDash up and told him hey yeah it was straight bullshit, but they didn’t have to worry. I’ll never deliver to that customer again and they sent me some kind of rigmarole back talking about rolling 100 and AR turned down and I said my response back to them was no y’all make money on every single order so it really doesn’t matter to y’all. I just only hope before I get too old that one day you’ll start caring about your drivers and by doing it so you’ll make this app mandatory tip or you’ll do away with acceptance rate whereas no one will ever deliver the no tip garbage orders. Other news wonder what happened to Mr DoorDash diaries?? Bentley hadn’t posted nothing in forever. Maybe he moved on cause I seriously doubt he got a conscious one day and said man I’m gonna quitselling bullsdhit to these drivers.
That's funny, YouTube pulled my last comment, one about a lying customer who said she didn't get her grocery delivery. Gave me a one star, reported me and took back the tip. She does this all the time and gets away with it. Leaving the profanity out of this comment so it doesn't get deleted. You can be the hardest working, best driver in the world and that can happen to you. A 300 pound woman who needs free food just to feed her fat gut. There's nothing you can do to stop this. The luck of the draw, gig work really is gambling. BTW, she is a human resource manager at the local hospital, go figure. I now need 100 reviews just to get that off my metrics and there is no way to appeal it. Could you imagine being such a low life as to screw over the underpaid, hard working drivers just to get free food so you can get even fatter?
Looking forward to Friday!
The new Spark tier system was a bait and switch program. It was not designed for the better drivers to make more money, it was designed for Walmart to make more money, period. It started out great, I was the only one in the parking lot on the Sapphire tier on day one in my market. I got all the offers, non stop. Everybody saw this, worked really hard, took shitty offers just to get enough trips in. They all licked the asses of Walmart and the customers just to get to top tier. When they got there it was great. They were getting all the offers. Guess who wasn't getting as many offers? Me. You get a honeymoon period on Sapphire then you're not even back to where you started, you're at the bottom of the barrel. The brand new drivers and the new Sapphire drivers get the offers before I do now. You have to find 99% of the items on shopping orders for 100 consecutive shopping orders, that's almost impossible. There are intentional glitches in the app that ding you when items are out of stock even if you offer a substitution. These are put in there to make you work even harder, spend more time in the store looking for stuff that just isn't in stock. All this to keep your sapphire tier so you can get fewer offers. It's straight up fraud at this point with the intentional glitches. Here's another glitch, Spark sends an offer at 8:10, pickup time is 8:45. You do the delivery then notice you just got a point against you for late on time arrival. Now, you have to work even harder to get rid of that point. The only people that benefit from this intentional late arrival glitch are those who don't care about the tier system. All the sapphire drivers in my market are turning down these offers so they can maintain their status. We sit there while the new drivers get more and better offers than us, no choice. I'm working harder than ever and making about $200 less each week since I've been a sapphire driver. Walmart is making more money than ever off of the drivers. Honest tier systems would be great but I don't think they exist. Funny thing is when I brought up these glitches to the other drivers they all laughed at me, now they're crying because they are finally seeing it happen to them.
Kim is just doing the same shit over and over
I will never create social media content; props to those who do, but not me. I'll (probably) never sell a course; I certainly don't want or plan to… its just so many struggle in what seems to me as Stupid-level Simple.
I'll just stick to giving post-shift quarter-drunk advice in comment sections, most likely. I drive delivery for a living. Also enjoy helping people, but I don't need or want anyone's money or eyeball views.
Torp has it right, people! Of the hundreds of channels I've watched on YouTube, maybe 3 are worth paying attention to as a new and/or struggling delivery driver. Only 3 out of all of the popular ones.
I'm sure there are more solid channels with sub 1k subscribers who are good as this delivery thing; I've not seen them, and almost nobody else has either… because GOOD ADVICE AIN'T POPULAR; POPULAR ADVICE AIN'T GOOD.
If only 100 people in my market could do what I do the way I do it, I'd be out of business in 6 months. Because how I do delivery is not popular amongst my competitors; they even make fun of me for it! There's a nickname for me in my market, and I get to hear that name all the time when I'm picking my next high-value order… from restaurant workers who failed at driving delivery, lol!
On a side note, HAPPY NO TAX DAY, fellow profitable drivers! My tax liability was $0.00. Yours?
People who love the tier programs don't talk about the hours wasted to slave wages to get into those tiers lol
