Anthony Burrow is an Assistant Professor of Human Development, at Cornell University. Dr. Burrow conducts research on youth purpose, identity processes, and race-related experiences encountered by ethnic minority adolescents and young adults. Specifically his work questions how a sense of purpose shapes the ways individuals react to challenging experiences and contexts and how racial identity influences individuals’ perceptions of everyday interactions with others. He is the co-director of the Program for Research on Youth Development and Engagement (PRYDE), which aims to promote positive youth development through innovative research and evidence-based approaches.
