Devki Sabarwal, a kind and respected biology teacher, struggles to bond with her stepdaughter Arya, who still misses her late mother. During a party, Arya faces a terrible assault by a group of men after rejecting their advances. Though she survives and identifies the culprits, they are released due to lack of evidence and loopholes in the legal process. Heartbroken by the injustice, Devki loses faith in the system and seeks help from a private detective, Dayashankar Kapoor (DK), to ensure the wrongdoers face consequences.

Devki begins secretly taking action against each man involved, leaving no clear trace behind. As news of their mysterious downfall spreads, Arya feels that someone is protecting her, unaware that it’s her own stepmother. Meanwhile, Inspector Mathew Francis starts piecing the clues together and begins to suspect Devki. The final confrontation occurs in a snowy cottage, where Devki and Arya come face to face with one last attacker. In a tense moment, Arya calls Devki “Mom” for the first time, and Devki bravely ends the threat to protect her family. The story concludes with Arya finally accepting Devki’s love, and the two share an emotional embrace, symbolizing healing and a renewed bond.
