  9. Had a new driver on Spark today that took a $42 offer for a shopping order, 294 items. Let's talk about that. They're probably still in the store begging them to stay open so they can finish the order they can finish shopping. The order probably expired after two hours of shopping and they got $2 for returning the order. You want to help gig workers do a video on what offers not to take, not constant videos about the millions of dollars a day you are making because you're special and get nothing but unicorn offers.

  10. Spot on video. If you're working at all there's no way the lies aren't coming your way. You're making money for someone else unless you're at the top .0000001%. We're not really contractors, we're sub contractors making money for the contractors. Think of it like construction sub contractors, all the subs make money for the general contractor, that would be the gig companies and corporations that make money off of us. Unless you live off grid and sell eggs on the side of the road you are making money for someone else. People taking a percentage of your labor without actually doing the labor. W2 or 1099 doesn't matter, you only get to keep a fraction of what you make long before taxes come into play.

  16. torp your frustration is warranted, its been really rough out there on doordash these past couple of years. but with that being said, we need to stick TOGETHER as gig workers instead of being divided. i really enjoy your content but i just feel like the hate content is taking 2 steps back instead of forward. hope you havee a nice easter!
